gold_score Young Dustin Wane, from the beautiful Hill Country of west Texas has set his heart on doing just that! But he is not doing it for the money, or for the thrill, or the fame- Dustin is doing it for love of his father. . .

Dustin’s father Wyatt has been a hard working cowboy all his life- He too was after the Gold Buckle many years ago - Just two bull rides away from winning the World Championship, he hung up in his rope, and was gored and crippled by the bull- Now he spends his days dreaming of yesteryears- A cowboy with a broken back, who sits in a wheelchair and tries to commit suicide. when he locks himself in the barn and cocks the shotgun, a white dove flies in front of him, simultaneously he audibly hears God's voice, "You will never get into Heaven if you murder!" His life is completely changed and even receives a miracle healing at the bull riding event when he is rooting for his son to win the Gold Buckle!

Wyatt lives in a world of torment. Like any cowboy he would like to see his boys compete in Rodeo, but he’s so afraid one of his three sons will ride bulls and wind up a cripple like himself. Dustin’s two older brothers were never allowed to compete, Dustin honors his fathers wishes, but he can’t help dreaming. Well, at least there’s no harm in riding the mechanical bull down at Snuffy’s Roadhouse?

Dustin’s uncle owes Wyatt a debt. He pays it by dropping off ‘Ol Blue Eyes at their ranch- ‘Ol Blue Eyes is a Rodeo bull who’s earned a lot of money- and earned a bad reputation! Uncle Bill wants his brother to start facing his fears…Dustin yearns to ride that bull! Dustin tells his father. But I want to do it for you! Wyatt is beside himself- I don’t want you to do it for me! I want you to NOT DO IT- for me!

Then Dustin meets Taylor Ann-Taylor Ann is a real beauty. An “up and coming” Country Singer, but also a person of very strong moral values- a rarity in today’s world! Dustin’s never met anyone quite like her…But her father is determined that no broke cowboy is going to interfere with her shot at stardom- Taylor Ann is already making a

name for herself. Dustin also sings and writes music, he gives her several songs for her shows. Soon they have an opportunity to sing together. They are big “crowd pleasers”- but being Daddy’s little protégé, Taylor Ann’s father is not going to have it.

This is a love story against all odds! Taylor Ann introduces Dustin to Scott Mendes - the World Champion Bull Rider who is also a Champlain for young people. All Dustin’s dreams are now screaming in his face! The tension between Dustin and Wyatt smokes.

Why can’t he understand?

Scott is now a minister of the Gospel who puts on bull riding events to reach teenagers and young adults. He knows about Wyatt’s injury, but he’s quick to remind Dustin- “All things are possible to him who believes!”

Wyatt has lived- or rather existed, in that wheelchair for many years. He spent his life riding horseback through the vast open landscape of the West, feeling the freedom- the wind in his face… He’s just not going to go on living like that!?

He can’t take it any longer. . there is only one thing to do- quick, and it’s over…

…but he has to think of his wife and sons who love him – “No-o-o more, no more! by the time they find me the crows and the coyotes will have done their job!”

When Taylor Ann is critically injured in a car accident, Dustin is devastated; he holds her hand in her hospital room. She lies in a coma; Taylor Ann’s father is reminded of his little girl growing up- maybe there’s more important things than a recording contract? A simple prayer…

Will their dreams be trampled in a cloud of dust?
