Volunteers needed for Superbowl XLV on February 6th at new Dallas Cowboys Stadium.
On behalf of Western Harvest Ministries, we would like to inform you about a very special upcoming outreach. As many of you already know, WHM has been responsible for operating several different types of stands (Popcorn, ice cream, and fresh fruit) at the new Dallas Cowboys Stadium.
We as a Non-Profit group were selected and have served there since the opening event last year 2009. We are currently working our way right now to the XLV SUPER BOWL game on Feb 6th 2011. As you can imagine this once in a lifetime experience is fast approaching us. We have currently been responsible for 4 stands on the main level requiring around 8-12 volunteers. God has been so faithful and is providing great volunteers to assist us in this unique outreach.
WHM is also now undergoing much construction and transition with our vision at our new headquarters ranch in Weatherford, TX. Our goal is to hit the ground running in the coming spring of 2011 with all facets of the ministry working together in reaching our community with the unconditional Love of God... After attending the most recent meetings with the stadium, we have been told that we will need another 7- 10 Superbowl volunteers to submit their background check information. The reason is that some present volunteers might not clear and we just can't be shorthanded for this worldwide event. Please pray about joining us for the Superbowl, as well as, some or all the great events still left leading up to the big game. Participation is not and all or nothing requirement. (See entire schedule at www.westernharvestministries.com .)We will take you for as few or as many events as you feel led to come to. Only a handful of our volunteers are constant at all events, thus our continuous need to reach out as we are doing now, so please do not say no out of concern that you must do all as we will gladly take you for less.
We do need to have all interested Superbowl volunteers to fill out a SUPERBOWL XLV Credential Application and a Background Check as soon as possible so that you can clear security with all appropriate credentials, so if you even have just a desire, but can't fully commit at this date, please let us know immediately so that we can get this paperwork out of the way ahead of time and then, if you in fact can't work it, no worries but at least we were covered anyway.
Our deadline for the applications is this coming Monday night October 25th, so as you can see, time is of the essence. I need to hand off all of our forms when we check into the Monday Night Football game. I have the form on our web site (www.westernharvestministries.com ) for you to print off or I can fax them to you or even meet up with you. Whatever is most convenient for you. Please feel free to contact the WHM Office at 817-523-2855 at any time for more details. With this event having very high security and it is vital that we meet the entire requirements.
