Conquering the beast training camps are an outreach ministry of Western Harvest Ministries Inc.. The camps are designed to minister to the needs of both the beginning and professional bull riders. They are instructed by Former world champion bull rider Scott Mendes and many other world class professional rodeo athletes. They are unique in the fact that we attempt to develop the whole athlete, and we also believe that we are preparing them for a successful life outside of the arena as well. We have watched these camps help literally hundreds of young men with their confidence levels, their self esteem, their faith and their ability to reach their goals in the arena safely. We offer a 1 day clinics, a 2 day seminars, and a 3 day camp (with a local church hosting our outreach). We work with them on a variety of different topics, such as “Winning With the Word of God”, and “Peak performance through sports nutrition.” And we use ministry owned bucking simulators and video playback, all with intense one on one instruction. But the main key is that we have fun doing what they love with Christ in the center..

Conquering the Beast Training Camps are an outreach ministry of Western Harvest Ministries, Inc.. The camps are designed to minister to the needs of both the professional and beginner bull riders. They are instructed by former world champion bull rider Scott Mendes and many other world class professional rodeo athletes. They are unique in the fact that, we attempt to develop the whole athlete, and we also believe that we are preparing them for a successful life outside of the arena as well.
We use God’s powerful word and his unconditional love to encourage young riders to be all that the Lord has created them to be. Then we provide them with the proven principles in their riding skill, which will enable them to develop a solid foundation for their riding careers.
Many other schools in the past have only addressed the area of riding skills, but as you might imagine the actual riding part of any athlete’s career is just a small fraction of what is going to be demanded of him. That is why we desire to share powerful truths about all angles of the game. In doing so we truly believe that God will not only bless our camps as we honor him, but he will greatly bless those who whole-heartily apply what they learned from a camp.

Camp Testimony
Hey, Scott. What’s up? I have been doing good. I am now ranked 3rd in the nation for little britches and we go to Colorado for finals July 25, I think with a lot of try try and heart I can pull it off and come out on top. I have been keeping God at the top of my list and worrying more about Him and His Word than how good I am doing. It makes me feel better about myself and others going by the Lords Word and thoughts instead of my own. I cant wait till you have another school close to here so I can attended and work on the basics and maybe teach someone about how I learned and now live by the Lord. 1 day Clinic Instruction $150
Designed for: the extremist or beginner or to boost the winning edge of established bull riders. Work on areas of choice and need.
2 day Seminar workshop $225
Designed for: those who are serious who are already competing but want to go to a higher level.
Camp 3 day program $300
Designed for: the bull rider who plans on a career in bull riding professionally and seeks for the maximum performance and professional insight.
Private Instruction: One-on-One intensive instruction with proven
World Champion. $200 a day (number of days dependant on scheduling in advance)
Deposits required on all schools; $50. $100. $150 accordingly. one- week prior to school date.
All schools include classroom as well as arena instruction and hands on bull riding with stock for individual levels.
